Love What We Do

I am very pleased to recommend Aruni. I have had the pleasure of working alongside her for the past 15 years where she proved to be a key teacher at our facility with her contagious personality and diverse experience. Her kind, loving and caring demeanor towards children gives you everything you can ask for when considering what is best for your child. She is a qualified Montessori Teacher with many years of experience taking care of classrooms filled with several children while practicing the Montessori pedagogy. She is highly organized, has great communication skills and has always impressed with her creative mindset and the way that she has approached children in all situations.

I recommend Aruni with the utmost confidence for any job she undertakes.

I wholeheartedly recommend Miss Aruni as the most excellent and outstanding teacher and caregiver.   I am a parent of 5 year old twins, and I am a physician who works full time.  My twins were under Ms. Aruni's care for 3 years since age 2.  During that time, I watched my kids flourish and thrive in her classroom.  Ms. Aruni managed a full classroom of young children with ease.  She paid careful attention to each child and understood their individual needs.  She managed the difficult task of keeping their attention, helping them with their own self-control and mannerisms, and teaching them important educational and social skills.  When I first walked into her classroom and saw the kids in circle time, I thought that there is no way my 2 year old twins would be able to sit in circle.  Nevertheless, she was able to keep the children focused and engaged, and my twins were no exception.  Under her guidance, my twins consistently grew academically and socially.  At age 2 it was simple things, like not slamming the door behind you, or remembering to push in your chair when you leave the table, proper hand washing techniques, what toys are personal toys (i.e. harmonica).  And by age 5 she was able to teach them courtesy and grace, honesty, respect for peers, respect for your environment, respect for living creatures, and more.  My children would often come home and say "Ms. Aruni says..." or "Ms. Aruni taught me..." and I was always incredibly impressed by what I heard and saw in my children.

Academically my twins thrived under her care.  They recently underwent testing as a pre-K requirement, and they both tested at a 6 year old level and above in terms of their academic skills.  They are both reading, writing, and doing addition/subtraction, learning to count by 5's and 10's, learning the early concepts of multiplication, and more.  They have learned science (i.e. parts of a flower, what is an insect, anatomy of a volcano), geography (oceans, continents, countries), and artistic concepts as well.  Every year Ms. Aruni put on a science fair and put great thought into the experiments and demonstrations.  My 5 year old twins were able to explain the concepts behind the science experiment (i.e. why does a balloon shrink into the jar when the match goes out?).  Not only that, Ms. Aruni taught my children yoga on a weekly basis, and they greatly looked forward to this exercise.  She led them in choreographed dances and performances for Christmas and Graduation ceremonies.  She made learning fun and exciting for them.  She exercised gentle discipline and taught the children important boundaries and lessons for their age group.  She taught them good eating habits, and when I would open their lunch I'd often find that the "junk food" came back home and the healthy food was always eaten.  She would send the un-eaten food back home with them so I would know exactly what they ate at lunch.

She helped my children with potty training and they never felt uncomfortable or ashamed in her classroom.  She helped them with interacting with their peers and transitioned them into more complex relationships (age 5 friendships and playground issues vs. age 2 , example "Ashton said my shoes are ugly" and how to manage emotions and feelings).  She made safety a priority and I always got an accident report when there was an accident on the playground.

She kept an impeccable classroom with educational activities, she always displayed their work so they would take pride in their accomplishments.

Most of all, she was a loving and affectionate caregiver for my dear children, and I always had complete peace of mind when my children were under her care.  I could go to work every day and not worry about my children. Ms. Aruni made this possible for my family.

Ms. Aruni is the most wonderful caregiver we could have asked for, and my family is so grateful to Ms. Aruni for her dedication to our children and all of her students.

We started going to Tiny Ones Care when my son was 15months, he is now 3y/o and thriving.
Aruni and the team are hard working, dedicated and caring people. The environment there is very warm and loving. And the space is always organized and clean.
Aruni follows the Montessori philosophy and we couldn't be happier! She makes sure to provide age appropriate activities to each kid, my son is therefore very independent and learns so much there.
We are so lucky to have found Aruni and are very satisfied with her and her team.
We highly recommend Tiny Ones care!
